Here is an example of a detected scoring error. The scoring system records you as having played with two different players during the same session of play. The DataPrax LeaderBoard software will detect this condition as an error and will discard both sets of scores. The score for both of the players with whom you have been recorded as having played will not be discarded and will be considered by the software to be accurate scores. This means that your valid score will be discarded, so if you had a ‘good day’, your average score will not go up as it should have done or if you had a ‘bad day’, your average score will not go down as it should have done. Additionally the person who should have been scored with the player, with whom you were not playing will also have missing scores. These missing scores may affect their average or qualifying status.
